Travel Backpacks

We offer several styles of travel packs including Eagle Creek, Jansport, and MEI. Travel packs differ from mountaineering packs in many ways. The main difference is in the backpack shoulder straps which are designed to be hidden behind a panel for easy transport on planes or trains. They also are what is called a "panel loader." The large main panel actually unzips to reveal the main storage area. Other features include a way of connecting a shoulder strap for carrying short distances without breaking out the main backpack straps and handles for lifting the pack onto and out of elevated platforms or from storage.
